Standard Knowledge: Exodus gets its name from the biblical reference. In the Book of Exodus it tells how the Israelites leave slavery in Egypt through the leadership of their prophet Moses. Throughout the story, they journey through the wilderness to Mount Sinai, where Yahweh promises them the land of Canaan(the "Promised Land") in return for their allegiance.

In Game Knowledge: The current leader seems to be a former Sentinel by the name of Nuriel (dubbed after the biblical "Angel of Fire" who sent Moses messages from God). The group seemingly appears to promote anarchy, though not directly. Rumor has it that this organization hides within Protega, receiving permission from Captain Vasquez after assisting him in his initial release from prison.
