Pirating is no easy business. Most space bandits never quite make it off the ground, falling into the hands of justice before they could ever build their criminal empire. For Javoro Vandou, being dealt a bad hand never stopped him from pursuing a life of freedom, theft, and violence that comes with buccaneering. Believed to be born on the Prometheus owned, but Pirate ruled planet of Protega, Javaro was nothing more than a poor boy wandering with other street children in order to survive. He’d eventually be drafted by Captain Francisco Vasquez’s recruiters (as most street urchins were) and toured as a conquistador on the infamous S.S. Angel Veronica.

For fifteen years he pillaged, raped, and murdered with his fellow bandits. He learned how to be useful with a blade and clever with his mind, earning position as first-swordsman. But when a jealous rival pirate decided he wanted to duel Javaro for his prized position, Vandou played dirty. Slipping into his competitor’s room the night before the duel, he carved a smile across his enemy’s neck, ending him before the two could cross steel. While some applauded Javaro for his boldness, by the rules established through Captain Vasquez, Vandou was in direct violation of betrayal and ordered to be hung. Javaro’s last words before he hung from the gallows…”This isn’t the end.”And the end it wasn’t.

The frayed steel cable they’d tried to hang Javoro from couldn’t hold, and soon the choking pirate found himself regaining consciousness on the floors below where he was suspended. While some argued that Javaro should just be hung again, most of the superstitious space crew demanded that he be allowed to live instead, as to not offend fate. So, in order to keep the peace, Javaro was marooned on a small lifeless moon near Hates where he was expected to never be heard from again. In spite of this, Javaro broke free from his death sentence, murdering a group of cargo deliverymen who were forced to land on the vacant moon due to malfunctions with their ship. After patching up the vessel, Vandou took back to space and began recruiting for his own personal band of brigands.

He now goes back and forth between Protega, Hades, and Phaya, with his small crew of mostly Naga dubbed the “Brittle Noose” Raiders. While their exploits are mostly disastrous, dripping in unplanned killings and reckless destruction, they have managed to steal hundreds-of-thousands of capital through piracy. They specialize in ransacking ships, disabling the vehicles’ communications before any distress signals can be sent. Javaro is also a big seller of narcotics, finding combat enhancing ingredients from an unknown contact in the Phaya system and selling them to the black markets of Hates.

UPDATE
As time moves on, so does Javaro. He and his crew of "Brittle Noose" Raiders have attacked several Terran Alliance outposts within the last three months, killing dozens in order to steal weaponry, ships, and slaves. Those who refuse to be taken prisoner are made an example of. Those who cooperate with Javaro are either recruited or sold into slavery. Javaro has gone from a single space craft, to seven freighters and shuttles. His raiders have multiplied to almost fifty strong, and begun haunting the Hades area more than any other solar system.

Recent mistakes have put Javaro in bad standings with Captain Vasquez. It happened after Javaro's Brittle Noose raiders mistaken a small band of Conquistadors (Vasquez's men) for private contractors, killing the pack and taking their vehicles. While  Javaro attempted to repent by sending over thousands of capital, as well as the property they'd stolen, its rumored that Vasquez has not accepted the apology.  This has caused Captain Vandou to put some distance between he and the Pirate King, as the Raider Leader no longer visits Protega.

The frozen wastes of Epsilon Eridani B can change an Ullitor. The bone chilling cold, depressing solitude, and ferocious wild creatures have broken even the bravest of N.E.E.B.s (nickname for Natives of Episolon Eridanie B). And even though a great deal of Epsilon Eridani B has been cultivated, the vast stretches of wilderness between them are still always feared. One of these frozen wastelands, Clearfall, has been haunted by the villainous Bergthora Sodokor (Burg-thow-a Sew-o-ker) for years. The mad tribeswoman, nicknamed the Witch of Clearfall, uses her tamed beasts and Ullitor champions to assert false claim over the veil that covers her ancestors’ grounds, slaughtering anyone who lays foot in her woods.

Though the T.A.F. has attempted to weed her out several times, Bergthora’s underground caverns and knowledge of the area has kept her safe. Unfortunately, the T.A.F. has not been so lucky. Over ten T.A.F. Rangers, three wilderness scouts, and a slew of T.A.F. civilians have been claimed by the dictator. She threatens that even more will be slain if T.A.F. continues to try and build on the territory of her ancestors. While the T.A.F. wishes to continue their fight against Bergothora, those in charge are not financially willing to spend capital on the endeavor that will only gain them worthless icy tundra.

However, in an effort to affirm their displeasure, the T.A.F. has provided a bounty on Bergthora’s head, which has been further inflated by private donations from Epsilon citizens. This reward is for her death, and is open to registered bounty hunters or trained law enforcement only (no good Samaritans allowed). Since she is considered a tribal fanatic, and unpredictable threat, Bergthora is wanted dead without need for questioning. Anyone looking to claim prize on Bergthora should contact Chief Seerix Fislum, High Chief of the Ullitor “Time Honoraries” and head diplomat for Epsilon Eridani B.



Claim Story
For months Bergthora Sodokor had been laying her claim to the Clearfall veil.  Any humans who stepped into her territory were tortured and killed. Those Ullitors who braved attempts to negotiate disappeared. Then in February, former Empyrean Legion knight and now bounty hunter, Sean McCloud (aka The Black Knight) arrived to make his attempt at claiming her Terran Alliance bounty.

He hired several Ullitor outdoorsman to help guide him through the wilds. Several of the half dozen were either claimed by wild animals or harsh conditions. Then, during a lonely camp outing, Bergthora made her presence known. Attacking the Black Knight's camp, she and her warriors slew the remaining Ullitors aiding McCloud as they slept in their tents. However, when the Witch of Clearfall entered Sean's tent, all she found was an abandon bunk. 

Because the Black Knight had anticipated the ambush for sometime, and was hidden in his scout class vessel just over the hillside. He'd sacrificed his men in order to get the upper hand on Bergthora's clan, and rained hellfire down on them with his ship. After decimating the Ullitors, McCloud returned to the nearest T.A.F. facility where he claimed his bounty before leaving Epsilon Eradani B.

Regina was always trouble. She grew up in the dirty frontier town of Deecus on the Prometheus owned moon of Agricon, where her pa’ and ma’ owned an inn catered to miners. Though they tried their best to raise her, Regina had a knack for turmoil, dating the most dangerous boys, acting out in school, and making problems for the law. Then on the winter of her eighteenth birthday, Regina and her then boyfriend Denny worked up the nerve to rob a refueling station, shooting the employees and taking off with several thousand capitals worth of ship parts. From there, the two evaded the law by hiding in local caverns, coming out only to occasionally stick up parts stores, food markets, and supply vehicles. That is until the day that Regina and Denny tried robbing a convoy that they thought was delivering high grade ground vehicles, but was actually the law in disguise.

A veteran Federal Space Marshal by the name of Nora Thompson had set up the convoy trap in order to finally bring Regina and Denny to justice. What she didn’t know though was that the couple wouldn’t go down without a fight, and in a frantic laser battle that ended the lives of Denny, Nora Thompson and her two deputies, Regina escaped with serious injuries back to her wilderness dwelling. When news hit that Regina had slain a Federal Marshal, she was immediately moved up to the top of the most wanted list. While she’s most likely healed from her physical wounds, its agreed that Regina is still mentally grieving, and will likely attack anyone on sight that she feels is a threat. While she’s not considered a galactic threat, Regina is wanted alive so she can properly stand trial in Agricon’s corporate courts. Death however is acceptable, if she is unwilling to cooperate with authorities.

Cendrillon always thought he was gifted as a youth. While all Solins were familiar with the fire fountains, volcanic clouds, and oceans of lava that made up Helios’s surface, Cendrillion was far more intimate. He could endure the most extreme of heats, create tendrils of fire from his hands and produce clouds of protective flame out of nothing. While he tried to hide this from family and friends, eventually Tarsa went into hiding, running away to protect his family from his unstable gifts until he could get them under control. Then, when the Psion public declaration came out, stating that Psions not only existed, but were merely a new development in biological evolution, Cendrillon came back to his home city of Etain, only to find that tragedy had struck.

His family had been slain by holy extremists while innocently studying in a local philosophy center, leaving Cendrillon without a place to stay or people to care for. In a fit of madness, Cendrillon fell into an inconsolable rage, seeking out any House of Veneration worshipers and murdering them with his flames. Eventually, Tarsa went into hiding, but not before claiming thirty-two human and seven Solins lives as they worshiped at local House of Veneration chapters. Soon everyone in the small city of Etain was locking their doors and staying inside, worried that the great “Fire Tamer” would claim them.

Since that time Cendrillon has killed seventeen others, all innocent House of Veneration worshippers who were privately giving praise within their own households. He’s known as a boogieman to the children, serial killer to adults, and menace to society by local law enforcement. Yet, as much as they try, policing units are unable to catch Cendrillon. That’s because he hides in the Volcanic groves near Etain where most vehicles can last for long. While many locals are adamant about his capture, there’s nothing law enforcement is able to do because of the Fire Tamer’s tactics. Such is why a 40,000 capital bounty has been put on Cendrillon’s head, in hopes that some brave bounty hunter or outside official will be talented enough to stop him.

Álvaro Tavares was an architecture acumen who agonized over working indoors. That’s why when his employer, the House of Veneration, requested that he personally take charge of their new town construction project, he jumped at the chance. Álvaro built the entire town of Verona 6 on the oxygen abundant moon of Cohen 6 in order to create a community of agriculture, crystal mining, and merchant trade that the House could use to their advantage. And though his resources were limited, Álvaro used his structural design expertise to construct a thriving small frontier neighborhood. There, he and his young wife Annabelle lived in their affluent estates, treated like royalty by the locals.

However, one day, when Álvaro had left for a business trip, a group of jealous ruffians decided to ransack Álvaro’s manor house, raping and killing not only the servants, but Annabelle, his pregnant wife. Though the town law captured and incarcerated the criminals, Álvaro blamed the entire town for his tragedy. He felt that they had despoiled what he’d built for them, converting it into a haven for wickedness. Grief stricken, Tavares moved off the moon, and for years was never heard from again. Then one day, almost a decade later, he returned along with a pack of ruthless mercenaries. For Álvaro had not only been gathering a small legion of hirelings, but training vigorously with energy weapons so that he could aid in punishing Verona. Together, he and his band slew the town policing unit and took over, declaring themselves the new government.

He now acts as Sheriff and Mayor of the community of five hundred Terrans, forcing them to live harshly under his rule. Every Sunday, after sunrise, Álvaro challenges one of the community members to a duel, one that Álvaro’s training has ensured that he’ll win. He does this as punishment, and makes all the town folk witness his terrible actions as penance. Meanwhile, new Terran Alliance territory disputes have caused Cohen 6 to fall out from under House of Veneration jurisdiction. Until the courts decide if the moon is under Prometheus Enterprises or House control, no aid will come to those poor citizens of Verona 6.

Santana “Rage-Shred” Heyward is a Human pirate and crew member of the S.S. Angel Veronica. He is the 10th most wanted person on the top 100 list with a reward of  ₡50,000 if arrested or death. Santana began his devious journey in Proteus, a mining moon of Neptune, where his abusive father raised Santana along with seven other sons and daughters. Santana grew up in the impoverished streets of his mining town for fifteen years before being detained for attempted murder of a school mate. He spent the next ten years in a Prometheus Maximum Security Detention Center until his release at age 25. From there, Santana convened with a few ex-cons he’d met in prison who were part of a pirate outfit along Protega. He initially joined the crew of the S.S. Splendid Peddler as an insignificant brigand, but once the ship was attacked by the S.S. Angel Veronica, Santana surrendered his rights to the conquering crew.

He was then assigned to help bully the corporate citizens of Protega, acting as muscle for any resident who refused to pay “Protection Fees”. It was here where he made his mark. Santana lead several assassinations on Prometheus Directors who refused to cooperate with the pirates, using his grizzly bladed bicep blades to carry out his orders.  Witnessing pirates decided to give Heyward the nickname “Rage-Shred” for his methods when disposing of his targets and his legend began to spread. Soon, Santana was upgraded to the head overseer of the pirates based in Protega. He helped establish several pirate hideouts and began working with Prometheus policing units to hunt down squealers. His violent temperament continued, and soon he had the attention of Captain Francisco "The Dapper" Vasquez.

Captain Vasquez made Santana the criminal sovereign of Protega and gave him honorary 2nd Mate ranking on the S.S. Angel Veronica. Though Santana spends most of his time on land, the promotion makes him the third most powerful pirate of the crew, just behind the Captain’s sister and 1st mate, Katrina Vasquez. He runs a tight outfit across the underworld of Protega, playing cat-and-mouse games with visiting authority while intimidating the locals. He’s ruthless, bloodthirsty and tends to be stimulated by acts of cruelty. Prometheus counselors have profiled Santana as clinically depressed with bouts of manic psychosis.

Being born of a privileged family doesn’t come without its setbacks. For Shoshanna Hart, being the daughter of rich Prometheus movie producer Joseph Hart meant riches, lavishness, but also confinement in the walls of her father’s Mars mansion. Liam Spade meanwhile, didn’t have it as easy. After returning home as a pilot in Prometheus’s Star Defense, the young man found that there was little work, and so he became a lowly butler for Joseph Hart, caring for his home while the movie producer worked on films. But being young and alone in a home with someone is often an intimate affair, and soon Shoshanna and Liam found that they were more than just servant and proprietor. They were lovers.

Regardless, Joseph Hart would have none of it, and after firing his short lived butler, demanded that his daughter never see the boy again. But love can not be withheld by the wants of men, and soon the two devised a way to be together. After some plotting, the two decided to forge the will of Joseph Hart, endowing Shoshanna with everything he owned. Afterwards, the couple used a high grade, untraceable poison to taint the food of Joseph. After his death, Shoshanna took the hundreds of millions of capital she inherited and married her sweetheart. The two lived happily for a short time before Shoshanna’s grandmamma began to get suspicious, hiring a well-organized investigation team to look into her son’s death. As soon as the old woman found out the truth, she reported it to the authorities. But the lovers had caught wind of the investigation, and fled with their money to the planet of Bacchus before police could catch them.

There they used their almost unlimited resources to rebuild their lives, acquiring flawless false aliases from top black market professionals. After purchasing land, they had a magnificent palace built, staffing it with servants and guards for their comfort. But the attention they drew slowly lead to the truth of who they were. Soon, some of the house staff had resigned and the newlyweds feared that it wouldn’t be long before they’d face the consequences of what they did. Yet, no law enforcement ever came, as Bacchus has always been an independent planet. Knowing this, the lovers spent millions on heightened security, beefing up their home with traps, electronic defenses, and the nastiest of military guards. Though a few bounty hunters have tried to claim the heads of Liam and Shoshanna, none have succeeded. Thus, as long as Bacchus remains independent, the Spade and Heart may be able to spend out the rest of their lives without ever being delivered to justice.


Claim Story
Zesor Nolus is a Terran Alliance Investigation Agent for the Terran Alliance. For ten years he’s been investigating criminal activity throughout the Milky Way Galaxy. So, when word reached Terran Alliance officials that famed Prometheus producer, Joseph Hart, was murdered by his daughter and her lover, Agent Nolus was dispatched to follow the trail. While at first it took sometime for Nolus to track the couple to Bacchus, eventually he made his way to the independent planet and tried working his way into the inner networks of the couples’ household. After a few failed attempts to make friends with the house servants and guards, Agent Nolus realized that he was getting nowhere, and decided to get more hands on.
 
Using an alias, Zesor sold himself out as hired muscle. He was able to lease himself to the “Spade and Hart” household as a guard, but slowly earned his way into personally protecting the couple themselves through cunning social manipulation and a staged rescue attempt. Soon, the couple looked to their prized guard as a confidant (being both smart and formidable), and began confessing their crimes to the undercover Agent Nolus. Before long, Zesor had key evidence and confessions from the pair. After tricking Shoshanna into a space trip that brought her into custody, Agent Nolus revealed himself to Liam, who tried to attack the agent in return and was slain. While Shoshanna will be serving a maximum sentence in a Prometheus facility for murder, it is uncertain where Agent Nolus has disappeared to or where he’s headed to next.

Jonathan Sharp was born in London, UK, Earth, to a single mother and an unknown father. When Sharp was seven, his mother was killed in the Boxton Riots, leaving him an orphan. With no other known relatives to claim him, Sharp was deposited in Jem Hocking's foundling home at Brewhouse Lane, Wapping, where he spent his days picking his assigned quota in the agriculture fields. He was malnourished and regularly beaten, resulting in his many minor ailments. Because of this, he eventually sold to a nuclear scientist, training as an 'apprentice' at the age of 12. Fearing the high mortality rate, Sharp eventually fled to the slums, and was taken in by prostitute (and later bar-owner) named Catherine Ester. He stayed under Catherine’s protection for three years, learning various forms of thievery.

However, after killing a gang leader during a fight, Sharp once again was on the run, escaping from London to Yorkshire at the age of fifteen. There, he became the manservant of an aristocratic hunter named Cedric Deanery IV. His duties consisted of rushing hunted game after his master shot it, ensuring that the creature did not suffer from any inaccurate fire. It was here when Sharp was presented with his first sidearm, and when he first learned that he had a natural knack for using ranged weapons. Unfortunately, within six months of his arrival in Yorkshire, Sharpe killed a second man, the landlord during a fight over a local girl.

To avoid arrest, Sharp took the "King's shilling” clause, joining the T.A.F. Infantry and clearing his past record. His regiment (popularly known as "The Dead Orphans", due to the overwhelming amount of waifs and strays), was first sent to the border of Hates, where Sharp fought in his first battle at the mining colony of Abraham 9. There he helped put down a group of protesting miners, who with the help of some local pirates, violently rebelled. The next year, he and his regiment were posted on a Space Force ship patrolling the Milky Way trade routes. It’s here where he decided to request a transfer in order to begin a career as a ship captain. After the papers went through, Sharp became a crew member for a battle vessel, the S.S. Meteor Hawk. There he served for nearly ten more years.

Sharp clawed his way to the rank of Commodore, but also made many enemies during this time because of his code of honor. He began to run into political problems after a group of commanding officers tried to conspire against him. Learning of their plot, Sharp, who was already jaded by the T.A.F. affairs of state, used his pull with the crew and whipped them into a mutinous stir, The squadron took over the S.S. Meteor Hawk, renaming it “Edna's Dishonor”. Then, with the help of their treasonable Captain, Edna’s Dishonor visited several T.A.F. outposts filled with fed up troops and recruited them for their space brigand crew.

Sharp now leads his team of mutineers, attacking trade routes as he sees fit. While he does maintain a code of ethics, sparing the lives of and releasing prisoners, he is by no means a Saint. He’s destroyed several T.A.F. and Prometheus ships, stolen thousands in capital and killed a fair share of those brave enough to challenge his draw speed. He favors direct battle, engaging in trained battle tactics and has several close calls. Most of the crew worries, for Sharp has not kept it secret that he has foreseen his doom. However, even with the foreboding prediction hanging over him, he never refuses a challenge, outdueling his foes with the infamous Captain’s Doom”, a heavy plasma pistol he’s had modified several times.

Thodan Van Draygen, formerly known as Sir Thodan Van Draygen, is a former Sanctus Proeliator guard who left service in order to deliver a false justice to those he feels are responsible for corrupting the Terran Alliance. He began his career as a protector for the High Bishop. Thodan spent several years guarding his mark at a local House of Veneration fortress. However, it didn’t take long before bands of marauders attacked the base, and Thodan was wounded by a grenade which detonated near him, removing his eyes with shrapnel.

After cybernetic irises were installed and weeks of recovery, Thodan finally was deemed fit to serve again. He was ordered to escort an Altarian Elder visiting the House of Veneration, touring with the alien through the Milky Way. However, somewhere between this period of travel, Thodan somehow became senseless and fled from his duties, but not before stealing the Elder’s smart-blade as well as a few other prized items. For several months no one had heard from Thodan, until security cameras caught the former Sanctus Proeliator assassinating his old High Bishop at his home. The cameras showed that the Sanctus Proeliator guard used the stolen smart-blade to deliver his death sentence to the House leader. Several weeks later, he appeared again, this time killing a Prometheus chairman on the planet of Mars. Finally, only a few days after his last execution, Van Draygen returned again, this time slaying a T.A.F. Colonel in charge of diplomatic affairs for the organization.

While no one knows for sure what Thodan’s motivations are, its clear that he has misconstrued some type of information while touring with the Altarian Elder. Some speculate that he is delivering a self charged punishment on those who aided with organizing recent ambassadorial meetings with the Hexisan Union. A bounty of 20,000 capital has been released on Thodan. He’s wanted for questioning if possible, but authorities understand that the former knight will most likely not go quietly. The undisclosed Altarian Elder involved has offered an additional 20,000 capital for the return of his blade, using money from his own accounts in order to further attract any bounty hunters willing to take on the challenge.

Thodan Van Draygen has been spotted near Hades, and is becoming more and more hostile towards officials of any faction. Thodan has attacked several Prometheus, House of Veneration, and T.A.F. employees in the town of Nubar without proper reason or intent. Those who know him say that it must have taken something incredibly significant for the guard to lose his mental solidity, and fear that Draygen may have some sort of damage or substance influencing his mind. Recent reports state that Thodan’s once immaculate appearance has transformed into a worn and grimy visage, with mangy hair and untreated scars littering his head.

Thodan has also been reported to have collected high end explosives from a local mining depot. Fear has spread across the area, as many feel he may be planning something large scale. Yet, still those who attempt to find the House of Veneration guard are stumped, as the former watchman disappears from tracking and sensor devices with ease. Rumors spread that Thodan has been aiding a local group of poor, and it is their efforts that has kept him unfound.

Princess Jezebel Louise Therese Victoria is the Captain of the False Prophet. Born of affluent royal blood, she sat under King Felipe for sixteen years, secluded in her French manor with only tutors and bodyguards as company. Her mother died when Jezebel was only six, and with no brothers or sisters, her overprotective father put away his daughter for safekeeping. However, this lifestyle did not sit well for the young girl, and at sixteen, she decided that she’d escape.

Jezebel had always romanticized about Space Pirates, who unlike her, basked in their freedom. So, along with her manservant, Jezebel commandeered a T.A.F. Royal transport, and made her way to the Pirate fringes. It didn’t take long before the crew of the False Prophet discovered her. Shocked at who she was (as the “Nez en Poudre” Gang were mostly French), the crew decided that they would hold her for a very large ransom. However, it wasn’t long before the young girl had earned the affections of the then Captain, Claude Basile, and soon, all talks of her release were no longer mentioned.

With a bit of hesitation from the crew, Captain Basile allowed the girl to join in their many raids. She proved to be not only fearless, but bloodthirsty. Before long, Princess Jezebel was considered one of the “Nez en Poudre”, and her reign as Captain would begin. The crew had known for sometime that the Princess was well educated and schooled in the principals of diplomacy. With her knowledge, the False Prophet was able to use many border regulations, political disputes and planetary intelligence to their advantage. So, as a gift to the Princess on her eighteenth birthday, Jezebel was given the rites as Captain by her lover and crew.

The False Prophet now gladly serves under their leader. She continues to use her familiarity with the T.A.F., Prometheus and House of Veneration to her advantage, attacking vulnerable supply lines while making political pacts with corrupt Terran officials. She still has a torrent affair going on with her 1st mate, Claude Basile, and the two have even spoke of marriage. Meanwhile, her father, who is a powerful philanthropist as well as T.A.F. diplomat, has refused to believe that his daughter is willingly part of the pirate crew and has offered a reward for anyone willing to bring her back to Earth. He also has used his status to swell the bounty for the False Prophet crew’s demise (especially Claude Basile), making the False Prophet one of the most wanted pirate crews by bounty hunters.

Claude Basile is the 1st mate of the False Prophet, head of the “Nez en Poudre” smuggling gang and lover of Princess Jezebel Louise Therese Victoria, Captain of their ship. Claude helped seize the ship from a nasty T.A.F. Ship Commander named Jean Decalb, and together with his mutinous crew, headed for the outer rim of the galaxy. They began raiding and smuggling for profit, until surprisingly, they were visited by a parlaying Princess Jezebel Louise Thérèse Victoria of France. The Princess offered her large savings in return for membership as part of the crew. At first, the crew was apprehensive, but needing capital, they eventually took her in as one of their own. What they would find is that Princess Jezebel would become one of the most vicious, blood thirsty pirates on the ship.

She constantly coaxed the crew into attacking risky cargo vessels, raid small mining outfits and put their lives at risk. Princess Jezebel would not due so without first putting herself in danger however, and could be found leading charges against their targets on numerous occasions. Soon, because of her education and etiquette training, Claude handed over the ship to his Princess, but not before being wooed by her affection. The two began their tryst, but did not hide it from their crew. While some became a big agitated, the Nez en Poudre gang for the most part accepted the affair, supporting them as their affectionate leaders.

1st Mate Claude Basile is an excellent gunfighter. He’s one of the quickest hands on the False Prophet and has a handful of victims he’s outdueled. He’s been accused of being a bit laze faire, but is otherwise a good leader. He has very good fight-or-flight instincts and knows when to retreat. He also has quite a few connections with the Protega pirates and has met with Captain Francisco "The Dapper" Vasquez on numerous occasions. While the two are completely different personalities, their respect for one another is enough to sustain their friendship.

Wendell Goodchild grew up as so many inner-city children of Luprian do, poor and without a responsible parent to look up to. His mother was a lady of the street, and his father was one of the hundreds who visited the brothels. Wendell only went to school until the ninth grade, as his mum' had given birth to her sixth child, and was in need of someone to help on the home front. Meanwhile, Wendell's uncle (mother's brother) was moving goods for the black markets of Hates as a transport man, and feeling bad for his neglected nephew, drew the boy into the illegal trade when he was just sixteen. Together they moved drugs, weapons and other goods that the local syndicate was pushing, making a decent living for themselves as aerial pilots until Wendell reached the age of twenty-four.

That's the time when two events made Goodchild who he is today. First, the syndicate that he had been working for ran into Prometheus and House of Veneration law, and after a bloody fight, found themselves out of business. Secondly, this is when Wendell's uncle passed away from Space Rot, and in his meager will, left his nephew a bit of capital as well as a ship he'd parked on the planet Gliese 581c. Though Wendell was saddened by his uncle’s passing, the young man decided to use the inherited capital to leave for Gliese, in order to pick up his ship.

After several months of the most modest public transportation routes, Wendell had finally made it to where his future ship await. When he finally dug it out from storage, he found that the vehicle was an ancient, ghastly vessel from the 2470 era (nearly sixty years old). Nonetheless, a message that his uncle had left as a computer interface message (like a screensaver) kept Wendell in good spirits. The memorandum read, “The number one rule of thieves is that nothing is too small to steal.” Inspired by the words, Wendell cleaned up his old rust bucket and made it space worthy.

Over the following years, Wendell began to purchase cheap labor and piloting drones in order to help fly his shuttle craft. He’d contract himself out as an independent transporter, stealing what he could from the cargo he acquired, but only in moderation as to not attract unwanted attention. Slowly, he upped the ante on what he was willing to steal or smuggle, remembering the message his uncle had left. Then, when Wendell was thirty, he finally picked up a major job, being hired by a coalition of influential pirates to transport stolen large quantities of Prometheus stolen goods to the pirate haven in Protega. While the score paid out generously, eventually Prometheus Enterprise investigators followed Wendell’s trail, identifying him as the man who’d been involved in the theft of their supplies. For it, he was placed on the most wanted list, as the worth of the cargo he’d moved amounted to the billions.

That never seemed to bother Wendell though, and to this day he feels the bounty on his head enhances his reputation. He’s careful to only work in places where the law isn’t so prominent, avoiding bounty hunters and officials who might want to claim the reward for his death or capture. He’s consistently worked for several galactic black market organizations, and along with his antique ship, continues to enjoy the life as a smuggler.

Not much is known about the cruel Captain Bothvar. He earned his rite as Captain of the Aifor Longship after assumingly being released from the T.A.F. military for heart issues. He had several cybernetic augmentations added to him after his term in order to both keep his heart going and enhance his physical abilities. Afterwards, it's assumed that he traveled for sometime, before earning his place as a crew member for the Aifor. There, his viciousness won him a spot as a respected head raider. He would later win his rite as leader, after challenging Hisili’th, a Naga ex-miner who had taken the leadership role after murdering his predecessor. The battle-to-the-death gave Bothvar the helm and soon, he’d lead his crew to some of the most decisive victories in pirate history, outrite destroying scout vehicles surveying near the Hades border. While Bothvar prefers his cruel looking axe to any energy weapon, he is equipped with an internal plasma blaster on his false arm as backup.

Una Martin is the cult leader of the Smog Drinkers, a group of ruthless followers who believe that the expansion of Terran life will cost the universe its very existence. The group feels that all products Terrans create in order to explore/exploit the cosmos ultimately damages it more than helps. So in return, the Smog Drinkers have harnessed the power of pollution, using their exotic weaponry in order to control the Terran populace.

Una Martin was once a productive plasma physicist, who upon discovering the appalling bi-products of Terran's inventions, vowed to do what ever possible in order to reverse sentient existence. She began recruiting followers (fellow scientists and engineers), who took refuge in the underground of Silver-Steed, a small city located on the Neptune moon of Larissa. There they began attacking nearby towns and settlements with their polution weapons, poisoning water supplies, tainting air, and spreading disease. While some speculate that Una has bartered with the governor of the city of Silver-Steed (as it has never been attacked by her), its uncertain how she manages to evade the law with the amount of trouble as she's stirred.

What is clear is that her cult has grown to almost fifty Terrans, all who swear allegiance to the Smog Drinker cause. They wear their grim cloaks and gasmasks, harnessing "smog-rifles" to destroy anyone looking to interfere with their project. While no one is for sure what comes next, many fear that soon, Una will have the nerve to travel off planet, using her terrorist weapons on larger populations.

Rilara Delko, a.k.a. “Delko the Hyena”, is the personal body guard of Captain Francisco "The Dapper" Vasquez. She was purchased as a ship slave by Captain Francisco when she was just a little girl, but because of her viciousness, she’d later become his protector. It began after several years of rape from a lowly crew member who not only sexually abused the girl, but tortured her as well. Fed up with the molester’s acts, Rilara devised a plan to ambush him, using nothing more than her teeth and nails to rip out the pirate’s throat.

Confident that she’d be executed for her actions, Rilara was surprised to find out that she’d been pardoned by the Captain as a reward for her bravery. She’d even been released of her duties as a slave and offered a spot on the S.S. Angel Veronica as a crew member. Rilara was delighted, but little did the quiet sixteen year old realize that she was being manipulated by the Captain in order to gain her trust. Rilara developed a ferocious reputation after several more men in the next coming years tried to taunt her, paying with their teeth, bones and blood. Some say it seemed that the girl changed into a feral beast when in a scuffle, earning her the nickname, “Delko the Hyena”.

Meanwhile, Captain Francisco finally found a reason to promote the girl, using her reputation as an excuse to make her his personal bodyguard. His motives were simple. Captain Vasquez was not only paranoid, but perverted, and preferred young women for company. Rilara was thrilled, and soon took on the roll as the Captain’s first line of defense. Soon, the Captain showered the girl with not only rewards for her service, but a pair of mechanical claws that he claimed, “Are a gift for the girl who was ferocious enough to use them”. While no one would be brave enough to admit it, most knew that the position, presents and praise came with more than just a need for a bodyguard. Rilara Delko was no longer a slave to the ship, but instead, she’d been tricked into becoming a servant for her Captain’s affection, gladly giving up her life in order to protect him.

Vandro Keegan was born Vandrellimus Keegan on the native Solin planet of Helios 13. Little is known about the early life, but it is believed that his father left the family when Vandro was just a boy, and his mother passed from Space Rot. Shortly after, he and his younger brother became involved in petty theft in order to survive, making him an outlaw before he reached the age of fifteen. On the run from the authorities, Vandro and his brother left for the Hades system, where they began holding up supply depots to make ends meat. Witnesses say the young Solin could be charming and polite one moment, then outraged and violent the next, a quixotic nature he used to great effect during his heists and robberies. Then, when Vandro was sixteen, he ran into the likes of Volund Thrand, a vicious Ullitor bounty hunter with a reputation for getting his man. Along with his brother, the two tried to fight off Volund, leading him into a shootout throughout the town of Kymir. The skirmish left Thrand wounded, but Vandro’s brother dead.

Barely escaping with his life, Vandro stole Thrand’s hover-bike and left for the distant town of Bolthum. There, he was apprehended by alerted lawmen, but not before killing the town’s esteemed Sheriff Brady. Keegan was incarcerated at the Bolthum jails until Volund could arrive to collect, but before the bounty hunter showed up, Vandro escaped by killing two guards. From there, Vandro hid in the Hades crater fields of Audun, charming nearby locals in order to feed himself. After months of going underground, Vandro finally resurfaced, inspired to improve in his criminal methods. This time, the young sixteen year old recruited several other natives, organizing a troop of bandits that would burglarize cargo trains and affluent travelers. In debt to the small towns who once hid him, Vandro donated a fraction of his band’s earnings in order to help improve the small settlements.

Soon Vandro was looked at as the Robin Hood of Hades, stealing from rich outsiders and companies, only to give back to those locals who needed it. Truth be told, Keegan and his gang were far from good Samaritans, killing anyone who was brave enough to stand up to them as they blazed a trail across the red planet. Then, in late spring, Volund Thrand returned to Hades in order to make a second attempt at taking in Keegan. But word made it to Vandro, who not only tightened his operations, but began playing a cat and mouse game with the bounty hunter. While most feel that Vandro has the upper hand, having numbers plus knowledge of the land, it hasn’t stopped Volund from his hunt. In addition, it is rumored that Keegan is particularly excited to finally reunite with Thrand, as the Solin has developed into an expert marksman since the last time they met, and wishes to avenge his brother’s death. Meanwhile Thrand has been open to the assistance of any bounty hunter or law enforcer willing to aid him, and will happily share the reward so long as he gets to turn in the notorious Vandro Keegan into authorities.

Achilles 12B, also known as Achilles, is possibly the last bionic android in existence. Created by Prometheus nearly three-hundred years ago, he fled from his home moon of Neso after corporate security began destroying all mechanical and bionic robots directly involved in the “Android Rebellion”. For decades he hid with whoever would take him, from monks chasing enlightenment to pirates along the fringes of space. Soon though, Achilles learned that he was different, and his hundreds of years of existence had endowed him with a more gracious perspective on the universe. Because of these contrasts, Achilles went into self exile, disguising himself as a lowly hermit that resided in the forests of Gliese 581c.

Meanwhile, though the rebellion had long since past, Prometheus’s outdated policies continued to offer a reward for the heads of any androids which could be found. Soon, the few scattered A.I.’s who remained were slowly sought after and obliterated, nearly wiping them into extinction. For Achilles, this meant avoiding traps and fighting off huntsman who stalked him throughout the years. If not for his tremendous strength and logical brilliance, he may have suffered the same cruel fate as most of his brothers and sisters. Yet, for as many times as Achilles was almost terminated, he held no ill will towards Prometheus. That is, until the day he met Myra, and his world turned.

She had come to him out of desperation, an android fearful of the executioners who tracked her. Achilles did his best to protect her without bias , but the time they spent together created a connection that soon became a romantic link. Unfortunately for Achilles however, he would learn that his android lover had deceived him, and was programmed centuries ago to lure and assassin all of the remaining bionic A.I.’s. In a clash that lasted for hours, Achilles and Myra battled it out, until finally the programmed killer was destroyed. Achilles was infuriated, and began acting out on Prometheus to the best of his ability. However, those directly responsible for the regulations that would destroy androids were long since deceased, and so Achilles decided to attack their dynasty instead.

It is assumed that he traveled to Protega, where he advises the pirates who dwell there. Some of the bandits greatest feats, such as the corruption of the Protega’s corporate government to the advanced network between the planet and  the Pirate Asteroid Belt are said to have been orchestrated by Achilles. Though he never shows his face in public, its said that he still strolls the streets of the distant planet, enjoying the company of the everyday citizens. And whenever a Prometheus official refuses to work with the pirates, or a spy is discovered on Protega, it is whispered that Achilles himself disposes of them before any pirates of Protega could even lay a finger on them.


UPDATE
Achilles 12B was recently identified as the leader of a small pirate force who attacked the Ambit. The small raid that consisted of only two mid-level ships and about fifteen crew were trying to make their way to the controls of the Ambit when they were intercepted by security forces. Though the highly trained pirate crew gave heavy resistance, the survivors were forced to retreat when visiting Empyrean Legion Knights assisted in the defense of the control bridge, stopping whatever plan the pirates had before it could be completed.

Witnesses reported that Achilles 12B by no means has slowed down in his seven-hundred years of existence. The incredible physical specimen was caught on security cameras accomplishing amazing feats of acrobatics, martial skill and focused leadership during the assault. Reports are still being made as to what the villains' motivations might have been, but efforts to track the enemy ships ceased when pursuers found that the ships had flown into the Pirate Meteor Belt. A raise of twenty-thousand capital has been placed on Achilles 12B's head for his most recent activity.

1st mate, Katrina Vasquez is the alleged sister of Captain Francisco "The Dapper" Vasquez, leader of the S.S. Angel Veronica. It is claimed that Katrina was found on the planet Protega many years after her and her brother’s separation, when pirate forces began raiding the corporate world. However, it’s speculated that the two’s relationship is more than just sibling related and the family tie is but a sham.

It began when the “Conquistador” pirates first began raiding Protega, dispersing from their hiding spot within the Pirate’s Asteroid Belt in order to pillage Prometheus cities. Captain Francisco was leading a personal raid of about five-hundred of his men when he came across the beautiful Katrina. The two seemed to instantly recognize one another and Katrina was brought upon the ship. What is fact from that point is uncertain, as the Captain comes down aggressively on those who ask too many questions.

It’s assumed that Katrina Vasquez is actually just a young, dark lovely citizen from Protega, who because of her own desires, decided to become Francisco’s lover, joining the Angel Veronica crew. It’s also believed that the two spun up a tale of siblinghood in order to avoid certain political complications. Francisco, already technically engaged to an affluent Prometheus chairwoman for the sake of political affairs, could not publicly take on a lover without serious consequences. He also needed to avoid angering his already “secret mistress” Rilara Delko, a vicious personal body guard who’d he’d taken in his bed several years ago.

As for Katrina, it’s said that her lust for power has motivated her to collaborate with the Captain and his story. Once just a simple corporate citizen, Katrina now has an opportunity to make something of herself, needing only her ruthless drive to move up within one of the most powerful pirate outfits in the Milky Way. It’s assumed that she waits patiently for Captain Francisco to make one too many mistakes, a consequence that would allow her to inherit the ship. Since she’s already earned the position as 1st mate, it’s assumed she speculates that it’s only a matter of time before she is at the helm of the S.S. Angel Veronica.

Ashton showed signs of being psionic early, destroying several house appliances and one cat with his energy manipulation gifts. He was regarded as a star-child by the community leaders, and seen as a sign of good fortune. So, it goes without saying that as soon as his Ashton was old enough, his father Adam recruited him into the war. There the two planned small ambushes, espionage, and anything else they could come up with that would slow down rival miners. Then, in the fourth year of the war, while Ashton busy with school, his father was killed in a bombing that claimed several other comrades. This threw Ashton into a ferocious fit of anger.

The night of his father’s funeral, Ashton made his way to the rival ex-miners’ towns and destroyed several dozen tavern patrons with his abilities. Afterwards, he used his psionic gifts to destroy their satellite networks, power supplies, and water generators. He then fled back into the night, and with the help of his mother, left for the independent planet of Bacchus. However, the miners wouldn’t let this act of vengeance be forgotten. Together, they collected enough evidence and capital to convince Terran Alliance Authorities to find Ashton guilty, and place a heavy bounty on his head.

Meanwhile, Ashton became desperate and began using his psionic abilities to hire himself out as added security for travelers in the area. He lives in the outskirts of the gold dunes, and operates an independent mechanic shop. He’s also become an adept hover-bike racer, using what money he makes to enhance his vehicle. While he’s aware that there is a bounty on his head, Ashton doesn’t plan on leaving the sovereign planet of Bacchus anytime soon, and feels that his increasing psionic abilities are enough to protect him from anyone foolish enough to try to claim their reward.

Se’shasho Mulculnh’ is a Naga native of Phaya 2. His reign began after joining a jungle clan who specialized in pouching. For years these huntsman slaughtered highly sought after creatures, exporting their hides and ivory to affluent buyers from across the galaxy. However, when security regulations tightened their exploits, Se’Shasho decided to take the role as leader of the group, and directed his jungle snakes into a new business, slavery. Phaya 2 and Phaya 3 had already been overpopulated by Naga, so kidnapping some of the inferior snakes went unnoticed. Soon, Se’Shasho had over one-thousand rounded up serpents, selling them as cheap labor for local construction crews. Before long, Se’Shasho was making enough capital to not only strengthen his organization, but bribe local authorities to look the other way while he shipped his slaves throughout the galaxy.

But it didn’t take long for Terran Alliance officials to catch wind of the underground slavery, and soon, their spokespersons were rallying the media around them. A large investigation revealed that Se’Shasho was the leader of this crime ring, and a bounty was placed on his head. While the majority of his slave market was broken up, Se’Shasho took what remaining prisoners and loyal guards remained, and went into hiding. While some have tried to find him, all have failed due to the dangers of the vast Phaya jungles, including the heat, disease, and numerous wild animals. Meanwhile, it’s said that Se’Shasho is hidden in one of his many secret facilities, waiting out the manhunt in order to return to his cherished business.

Tartok Deniigi is an Ullitor native of Epsilon Eridani B who left the planet after authorities learned of his appalling acts against humanity. Tartok was the third child of a poor mother and father who lived on the outskirts of the T.A.F. town of Nilak. It’s believed that he was secretly molested by his father Suluk as a child, and the effects of this happening made him quiet and mousy. He had no friends in school, was disliked by teachers, and teased by local children. Still, Tartok tried to make something of himself, entering a local college with the hopes of becoming a veterinarian. His dreams were crushed though by poor test grades and soon Deniigi defaulted from his goals, becoming a custodian at Nilak University instead.

However, when a mysterious slew of attractive university students began disappearing from campus, Nilak law enforcement began to fear that they had a serial killer on the loose. After months of investigation, they narrowed down their suspect down to Tartok, and soon attained a warrant to search his small home. When they arrived, Tartok was nowhere to be found, but his victims were. Nearly thirty-three young men and women were found mutilated in his flat. Forensic detectives speculated that Tartok had been taking out his youth driven rage on these individuals, crushing them to death with his bare hands as he raped them. Though they tried to track Deniigi, his trail went cold.

Then, early in 2525 A.D., bodies of victims murdered in a similar fashion were found within the alley ways of the red district in New Helsinki, a Scandinavian populated city on Gliese 581c. T.A.F. (whose jurisdiction New Helsinki falls under) Law Enforcement was certain that this was the work of Tartok, but failed to figure out how he was hiding from authorities. Cameras, traffic-bots and local business owners alike all came up empty handed. Desperate to keep the public calm, local police have offered a bounty of 20,000 capital for the slaying of Tartok. They consider him armed and dangerous, and do not wish for those hunting him to attempt capture. New Helsinki’s lead sherlock, Sven Hawarden, is willing to speak with anyone who may be able to assist with the case.

Meegus is the mutant gang leader of the “Strange Savages” based out of Bolthum. He was once an ordinary Hades human, living in the slums of the town, but when a fusion reactor went faulty, he and many other residents nearby were contaminated. While most people passed from exposure, the few who survived underwent an unforeseen change. Their forms had contorted, making them monstrous to behold. The transformation was not without  windfall however, and soon, many of them grew stronger, more resilient, and capable of adapting to harmful environments. While Meegus’s change was less imposing then some of his neighbors, the former social worker’s ability to lead made him the prime candidate to represent the mutated.

But instead of legally protesting, Meegus instead rallied the remaining survivors and took to the streets. Though the local Paladin militia tried to put down the violent march, the new gifts that these mutants possessed was too much, and they overpowered officials. After looting and pillaging Bolthum for several hours, the mutants retreated before Terran Alliance military could catch them. They withdrew into the old copper mines located near the city borders, making it their haven. While Paladin militia and outside law attempted to find them, the maze of tunnels only ended in disaster, as Meegus’s gang was able to pick them off one by one.

Since then, Meegus and his “Strange Savages” have kidnapped hundreds of babies and young children, taking them back to their cavern home. It is said that they have procured the same fusion waste that changed them, and use it to alter those they steal. Many fear that the group is trying to grow in strength, and will someday come out from their tunnels to take Bolthum. Such is why a 20,000 capital reward has been offered for anyone who can capture or kill their leader.

Update

Meegus Boonshire and his “Strange Savages” have continued to wreak havoc on the city of Bolthum, stealing nearly seventy children for their sick design. Once treated with the maddening radiation treatments, Meegus releases these feral kids back onto the city streets, where they attack Bolthum citizens who get too close. The city’s private police force, Yunobi, has been on high alert, though they refuse to delve deeper into the city’s underground in order to weed out the toxic terrorists. This has lead the Mayor of Bolthum to raise the reward prize for Meegus’s head, in hopes that a group of bounty hunters will take the job and finally put an end to the mayhem.

Meanwhile, the Strange Savages have begun targeting city officials and public servants who’ve made attempts to campaign against them. The mutants have also kidnapped the Mayor’s oldest son, and filmed their toxic treatments on him, sending them to his father as a form of psychological torture. Since Hades is an independent planet, their pleas with the T.A.F., House of Veneration, and Prometheus have all gone unanswered. If nothing changes soon, city administration may attempt to bargain with the terrorist, but fear that it will only come back to haunt them in the future. A city curfew has been deliberated, and may go into effect within the following months.

Usami Kotaro is a former Japanese/Korean citizen of Earth who joined the T.A.F. military in order to continue the traditions of his family. Since feudal Japan, every able Kotaro had enlisted in the military, and Usami learned at an early age that he would not be made the exception. His father forced the boy into multiple martial arts schools and weaponry academies until Usami was eligible to enlist in the military at eighteen. Though he enrolled begrudgingly, Usami was eager to finally leave the micromanagement of his father. He joined the T.A.F. Mobile Infantry and was stationed on Saturn’s moon of Titan.

For six years he served as a basic soldier, until he qualified to advance in the T.A.F.’s special outfit, the Alpha Recon Regiment, a group of military wilderness scouts. There he excelled, specializing in small unit assignments. Then in late April of his third year as a scout, Usami’s unit was ordered to gain reconnaissance on the mountainous moon of Utopia where it was believed that pirate activity had taken place. There he and his team discovered a large pirate outpost. But before they could report their findings, the raiders became aware of Alpha Recon’s presence and came down on Usami’s regiment.

For weeks he and his ten comrades hid, slowly being dwindled down until it was just Usami. Hiding in the dangerous underground craters, Kotaro was able to elude the pirates, living off of funguses and sulfuric water. For three years he existed like this, miserable and with no way of communicating to headquarters. His mind began to turn and soon Usami suffered from delirium. He believed that his ancient ancestors were guiding him to stop the pirate outpost, beckoning him to regain his honor. So, Usami plotted and planned until the day he decided to finally assault on the station.

Slipping into the camp at night, he used recovered mining explosives, salvaged energy weapons, and a make shift sword to slay every pirate, including women and children (about 30 in all). Once his feat was finished, he used the station’s communication equipment to contact the T.A.F., and was rescued soon after. He would need several surgeries to replace infected limbs, deficient organs, and contaminated skin tissue before he could be deemed fit for duty again. After undergoing his advanced cybernetic treatments, Kotaro finally reentered as an Alpha Recon scout.

Yet, for as much as Usami wanted to forget, the three years he spent on Utopia haunted his everyday life. He saw not only the faces of friends and victims, but the ancestors that psychologists tried explaining were just hallucinations. After trying to suppress these visions for several days, finally Usami cracked. Security recordings showed that he had broken into the advanced armory, wearing nothing but military sleepwear that he fashioned into traditional robes. After recovering several expensive pieces of equipment, he assaulted guards and defense drones, before seeking out the barracks counselor. The counselor later asserted that Usami had thanked the therapist for his honorable aid, but did so while speaking in a false Japanese brogue. Then, he disappeared with one of the interstellar ships, leaving before security could stop him.

The vehicle was tracked to Utopia, the moon where it all started. Though the T.A.F. wishes to stop Usami and recover their stolen gear, Utopia’s orbit has recently been a hotbed for pirate activity, and is an unnecessary risk for salvage teams. Instead, the T.A.F. has placed a bounty on Usami’s head, in hopes that someone is desperate enough to try and capture or kill him. He’s considered not only armed and dangerous, but mentally unstable, making him that much more of a threat.



UPDATE
Usami Kotaro has been spotted several times off of the planet Utopia. It appears that the former military specialist has drawn deeper into his post traumatic belief that the ancestors of his family are instructing him on what to do. Unfortunately, this certainty has benefited some of the more unsavory types around Protega, who’ve manipulated Usami’s false beliefs, and hired him out as a honored warrior. They’ve even put together capital in order to customize the mentally ill soldier’s body armor, coloring it green, and now calling him the Jade Samurai.

Who could be so dark as to commit to such atrocities? None other than former Prometheus Cultural Director of Protega, and outlaw, Sam Winters. Sam was exploited for his part in the overturning of Prometheus government on the planet of Protega, and considered an outlaw by the Terran Alliance commission. While he is a major villian in the Orion Belt, he’s celebrated as somewhat of a celebrity on Protega (for more on Sam Winters, please see additional posts on the Most Wanted list).

Captain Francisco "The Dapper" Vasquez is the leader of the S.S. Angel Veronica. He is one of the most powerful pirate captains as far as influence, ruling not only his sizable crew, but the underworld of Protega. While much of Francisco’s past is uncertain, there are a few details that can be verified through public documentation. Captain Vasquez was born in the slums of Hades. Along with his seven brothers, Vasquez ruled the streets as an urchin, stealing and murdering in order to feed his family. Soon, the Vazquez family earned themselves a menacing reputation and the law was looking to bring down the deviants.

It didn’t take long for the Vasquez brothers to be captured and incarcerated. They spent years living in a maximum security prison, ruling inside its walls much as they had done on the streets. However, after years of ruling with an iron fist, the inmates eventually became fed up and a coup was on the horizons. All six of the future Captain’s brothers were violently murdered, and Francisco was hospitalized during an unsuccessful assassination attempt. Officials felt it would be best to transfer Vasquez to a new prison, where he’d spend the next ten years rebuilding his criminal syndicate. He ran a tight criminal ring, using guards and people from the outside to smuggle narcotics into the penitentiary. For an entire decade, Vasquez made thousands until papers came in that ordered the detention center he called home to be demolished. This was when Francisco finally became Captain.

Along with several guards and his posse of inmates, Francisco took over the S.S. Angel Veronica, a personal transport used to transfer the leagues of prisoners to their new destination. After their hostile takeover, the group of outlaws offered membership to anyone who wished to join them while executing those who refused. Before long, Captain Vasquez was not only in charge one of the largest pirate vessels in the Milky Way galaxy, but also one of the most massive crews. He used his criminal contacts to navigate his way to pirate territories, where he gave up a few hundred of his men in order to purchase sanctuary. For months he’d raid small space routes, using the profits to both better his ship and strengthen his men. Once Vasquez felt that everything was in place, he ordered his crew to follow through with one of the most audacious plans yet, attack the massive planet of Protega.

Raiding several sizable towns, Vasquez was able to make a sizable profit while evading Prometheus Enterprises patrols who searched for them. Using the Pirate Meteor Belt, Captain Vasquez continually repeated his strategy, waiting for corporate defense units to move out before invading once again. Before long, the people of Protega had given up on their corporate protectors and bartered several deals with Captain Vasquez. With Protega representatives allowing the pirates to run illegal business in their cities, Francisco was now not only powerful, but wealthy beyond belief. He used his plentiful capital to start a fleet and make those who served under him the most authoritative pirates in the Milky Way. To this day, Captain Francisco is the most wanted pirate in the galaxy. He is not the most physically strapping nor best trained. Instead, he used his ability to read others and ruthless tactics to outthink his opponents. Which means anyone who is trying to claim the bounty on Captain Vasquez’s head needs to understand that failure means worse things than death.
